A downloadable game for Windows



The planet seems dead and everything tells you to leave. The skies are dark and deep. The cliffs are steep and deadly. The Hierophants want you dead, yet you have the boldness to get to their own motherland to find them.

Worst, you wield no other weapon than the one they gave you : The Quintessence.



The 5th Interaction is a First Person Parkour game set on Solace, a dead planet that displays monumental Temples where you will find new abilities. Use them to interact with the planet and get to its depths.

This Vertical Slice has been produced in 4 months by 12 students of the CNAM-ENJMIN




N.B. L1 + R1 (Jump + Thrusters) =< A THRUSTED JUMP>, allowing you to get higher.

I really want to play and like this game but in its current state, I can't. Right now, any controls outside of an Xbox controller (mine is a cheaper one from Logitech) or PC controls either need tuning up (moving too fast on analog sticks) or have no instructions (PC controls). Would be easy to resolve if the demo came with a way to map keys or change sensitivity.

It also seems to eat a ton of resources (maybe because it's still a vertical slice?). My 3070 skyrocketed into higher temps just from starting the game.

Also, there seems to be a scene missing from the beginning of the demo. Audio plays but the screen sort of stays stuck with UI and a black screen for a minute.

Hoping to showcase this in the future! It looks super cool.

Actually, the fact that it is a vertical slice is the main reason behind these issues. But you are completely right, we don't know yet if we will be able to improve the ergonomics of the game, members of the team are on different projects now. But as soon as we can, we will improve the optimisation and create a menu to improve the ergonomics and allow remapping. 

Sorry for this frustration and thanks for your feedbacks, we'll try to get this fix.

Yeah, we hope we'll be able to improve the ergonomics of the game, wether it should be played via keyboard or controler... But, definitely, the best experience was designed for the controler.

I hope you managed to beat the game, even if it is hard as hell - even for us. Came to think of it as I was watching you playin'. And there are many things unclear in the design and UI. Rah.

It is still in development and we don't know if we'll ever be able to finish the work. But those kind of compliments are gold.
